Let’s Drive Learners and the Theory Test

All Let’s Drive pupils receive complimentary access to Theory Test Pro, the UK’s leading online revision platform. Our instructors provide expert guidance on using this resource effectively to help you pass first time. With current driving test waiting times stretching to 3-4 months, we strongly recommend taking your theory test early in your learning journey. This strategic approach allows you to book your practical test immediately after passing.

The theory test consists of two mandatory components taken in a single session: a 50-question multiple-choice section requiring 43 correct answers, and a hazard perception test featuring 14 computer-generated clips where you’ll need to score at least 44 out of 75. The entire test takes approximately one hour, with results available immediately. Remember, you must pass both sections on the same day to qualify for your practical test.

Eligible candidates can take the theory test from their 17th birthday (or 16th for those receiving enhanced PIP mobility payments). You’ll need a valid provisional licence to book. If unsuccessful, you can rebook after three working days. Our proven training methods give Let’s Drive pupils a significant advantage, with an exceptional first-time pass rate.
